Special for 1980 was the Weissach Limited Edition 911SC. For the U.S. there were only 408 examples produced. Unique to these examples was the fact that they only came in two colors- Black Metallic and Platinum Metallic. The interiors had full Gray leather upholstery with Burgundy piping. There were options available for this special car and they included: passenger side exterior mirror, whale-tail spoiler, flexible rubber lip on front spoiler, power sunroof, power antenna, foglights, speakers in the doors, dual rear speakers in the package tray and the centers of the Fuch wheels painted in Platinum Metallic.

This one of 408 produced Weissach Edition cars and is a former Greenwich Concours Class winner; and remains in stunning original condition. Powering this German automobile is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower. Paired to the engine is a smooth-shifting five-speed manual gearbox. This Porsche is equipped with a sunroof, optional sport seats, whale-tail spoiler, foglights, air conditioning, power windows, speakers in the doors and Platinum Metallic painted Fuch wheels. The exterior is presented with Black metallic paint over full Gray leather interior with accenting Burgundy piping. Also included with this car is the factory toolkit.
