The Malibu is a car that quietly, but emphatically says ‘first class.’ When the Malibu was first introduced in 1964, its original market was a premium sedan for families and was intended to compete with the Ford Fairlane. Described as a nicely appointed Chevelle, the Malibu found its distinction through the use of bright lower bodyside and rear moldings.
