From 1950 through 1952, Chevrolet hardtops in the DeLuxe model line were dubbed the 'Bel Air.’ It took a little longer before it would become its own distinct series. In 1952, the higher priced Styleline Bel Air and station wagon had their own special trim, distinctively separating them from the lesser Chevrolets. Offering the best from Chevrolet in 1952, this Bel Air is strikingly finished with Onyx Black over a Honey Dew pillar less hardtop body. Equipped with the venerable Blue Flame Inline Six and a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission, it could be readied for an enjoyable Lincoln Highway adventure. With some light touch-ups found on the paint and some very minimal wear in the interior, this is best described a wonderful well-kept original with acceptable patina. It is easy to appreciate this very attractive Chevrolet.
