Oldsmobile introduced the Super 88 in 1951. For the 1952 model year the Super 88 was Oldsmobile’s most produced vehicle with 118,558 units produced. The Super 88 was offered in five different body styles, with the rarest being the convertible coupe with only 5,162 examples produced for the 1952 model year. The first generation Super 88 was produced through 1953.
