Japanese sports cars have always been rooted with one goal in mind, to be the best driver’s car. The Lexus LFA first debuted as concept in 2005, followed by more complete versions in 2007 and 2008; the final production version revealed itself at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show and instantly won over the automotive community.

With its radical styling, unique supercar approach, and howling V-10 engine, the LFA exudes automotive awe from its fans. One of its great achievements lies in its construction. Utilizing Lexus-developed carbon fiber reinforced plastic, otherwise known as CFRP, the LFA has a curb weight of just over 1,480 kg. Despite being a front-engined car, the LFA achieves a near perfect weight distribution of 48:52. The liberal use of high-end materials such as aluminum, magnesium, titanium alloys, and carbon fiber make for a one-of-a-kind driving experience.

And that ultimate driving experience is absolutely defined by the LFA’s drivetrain. Nestled up in front of the driver lives a Yamaha-developed 4.8-liter V-10 engine producing 560 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 354 foot-pounds of torque at 6,800 rpm. In the world of modern-day supercars, V-10 engines are popular, however what sets the LFA apart is its astonishing power delivery and pure automotive harmony. Intelligent variable-valve timing along with titanium valves and connecting rods allow the V-10 to rev from idle to a screaming 9,000 rpm in just six-tenths of a second. The engine revs so quickly that Lexus had to fit a digital tachometer instead of a traditional analog gauge. This technological marvel of an engine is mated to a six-speed automated single-clutch sequential transmission that can shift between gears in less than two-tenths of a second.

This pristine Whitest White (079) over black 2012 Lexus LFA is presented with just 120 miles on the odometer. The high polished silver wheels are complemented by red brake calipers, while moving to the interior, the modern black cockpit is supplemented by red accents on the steering wheel, door-pulls, and seats. More so, the car is 479th of just 500 built worldwide, making it one of the last great examples of the model. The car is accompanied by a full set of owner’s manuals, tools, as well as luggage.

This LFA is not only a proven performance machine, but rather an immaculate example of the exceptional Japanese sports car and must-have for any supercar collection.
