According to Galen Govier documentation, this is the last known 1970 Hemi Road Runner coupe built at the Detroit, Lynch Road plant. It is one of 74, built to specifications for the United States market, originally produced in 1970. Furthermore, Galen Govier has decoded and documented this Mopar and confirms there are less than 27,000 original miles. Options include Factory R-Code 426-cid Hemi option, Super Performance axle package 4.10:1 ratio with 9.75-inch Dana 60 axle, Super Grip differential, Maximum Cooling package, Tic-Tach tachometer with clock, Air Scoop Ram Charger hood "Air Grabber", Hemi suspension, V21 stripes, performance hood paint treatment, bucket seats, power disc brakes and Rally wheels. The 426-cid Hemi replacement engine with Chrysler tag has been freshly rebuilt along with the transmission. The paint was professionally done; completely stripped, then refinished and changed to Black Velvet from its original Burnt Orange color. This is an uncommon piece of Mopar history – look the car over and notice the attention to detail.
