The Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 made history as one of the most developed and ferociously quick rally cars of the Group B era. Just 20 of these vanishingly rare machines ever left the firm’s Ingolstadt works, one of which—chassis 018—later became the face of the Race Of Champions. Driven by former World Champions Björn Waldegård, Walter Röhrl, Ari Vatanen, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist, Timo Salonen, Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion, and Carlos Sainz, this significant car is set to cross the auction block in Monaco on 10-11 May 2024.
