At the 2026 Supercar Driver Season Opener, Harvey Stanley had the opportunity to test this sensational Audi R8 LMS GT3 at Donington Park Circuit. Delivered new to Audi, this car was allocated to Hong Kong Superstar Aaron Kwok for us in the inaugural season of the Audi R8 LMS Cup in 2012. The car was then allocated to the winner of the Audi R8 LMS Cup, Marchy Lee, to drive alongside his brother Jeffrey in the GT Asia Series, where the pair won the 9th round of the championship at Japan's Autopolis International Circuit. Kept in mainland China in the ensuing years, the car was purchased in 2024 and subsequently shipped to the U.K., where it was entrusted to Pursuit Racing of Bicester to be fully stripped and prepared to return to the racetrack. In period, the R8 LMS GT3 was renowned for its durability and versatility, a car that could be driven hard for long hours, in the hands of both top-tier professionals as well as gentleman drivers. This makes the R8 LMS GT3 an excellent candidate for historic racing today, especially for a newcomer to the grid.
