It goes without saying that a car must be pretty special to be owned two times by the same person. After once selling the 1962 Impala Convertible presented here, Mr. Pack purchased it back, and it has remained in his collection since 2002, with this occasion marking the second time it would leave the collection.

It is equipped with the very desirable 409-cubic inch engine, which is topped with the correct intake and correct dual four-barrel carburetors, as well as a four-speed transmission with a Hurst shifter and console. It is presented in Roman Red and color-matched upholstery, making it a very attractive offering. Other notable features on the car include a pushbutton AM radio, bucket seats, twin bow-tie exterior mirrors, a power rear antenna, spinner wheel covers, fender skirts, BFGoodrich tires, and a power top.

Inside, an aftermarket sound system has been installed in the glove box and kick panel speakers have been mounted, for maximum entertainment value. All of the trim and brightwork have been polished to like-new condition, and they provide an excellent contrast to the sea of red paint and upholstery. The engine bay is highly detailed, with correct clamps, belts, and hoses to be found on each component. The trunk compartment is not to be missed, as it has been fully tended to with proper jack equipment and a vintage spare tire, which is neatly mounted to the side and provides plenty of space for luggage. The Beach Boys would certainly agree with Mr. Pack that this is one real fine 409.
