This 911 started out life as a 1983 911SC. It was later converted to a 1988 959 Recreation, paying homage to the Porsche supercar of the 1980s and 1990s. The car was purchased by its current owner in March of 2005, and the owner states it, “performed flawlessly” from Newtown Square, Pennsylvania to Danbury, Connecticut. Shortly after purchase the car was resprayed in Artic Silver at which time the RUF alloy wheels were also painted. It’s powered by a six-cylinder engine which is paired to a manual transmission. A new ignition and discharge system have recently been installed. The interior is completed in black featuring air conditioning and a radio with CD player. Documents going back to the 1990s are included with the sale. While not a true 959, the craftsmanship on this recreation is very well done.
