Over the years, the 911 series has been accepted as the line of succession that has ultimately become THE Porsche. In 1986 it was certainly all that. The engine had been enlarged and the body has been subtly reshaped and refined.

The 1986 911 Carrera Cabriolet had all the comforts expected of a modern GT car right down to air conditioning. The engine is called the Carrera and the1986 version of the flat six measures 3.2-liters and a 200-hp rating. It’s backed by a five-speed transmission.

Presented in what is described as original condition; this red over tan mechanical instrument has a black canvas top, matching boot, whale tail rear spoiler, Fuchs wheels, power windows, power steering and power four-wheel disc brakes. Among the further features, you will find the air compressor, books and tools.

The convertible top is neat and tidy up, down or being put from one to the other; it adds its own charm and when down contributes greatly to the grin factor, plus you can clearly hear the engine note mile after glorious mile.
