The 1950 Ford was instrumental to the company’s survival and success. While it retained the previous year’s “Fashion Car of the Year” styling, it was said to feature “50 improvements for ‘50”. Handsome remaining examples such as this are highly collectable as they benefit from these numerous improvements and continue to be very enjoyable, drivable automobiles, especially when offered in stylish convertible form.

This exceptional 1950 Ford has undergone a frame-off restoration and is finished very nicely in Chartreuse Green and complemented by a tan convertible top, nice brightwork, fender skirts, full polished wheel covers and whitewall tires. Inside the car it is finished with tan plain-stretch upholstery, tan door panels, in-dash radio and a dash-mounted clock. Under the hood is the iconic 239-cid, 100-hp flathead V-8 engine backed by a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
