The Berlina was an updated and slightly enlarged version of the Giulia sedan, which had been introduced in 1962. In turn, the Giulia was a fairly significant revision of the Giulietta sedan, which had gone into production in 1956. The Berlina is a four-door sedan and comfortably seats five and was based heavily on the Giulia sedan, though the body was restyled, by Marcello Gandini at Bertone.
The Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina is an “executive class” car produced by the Italian car manufacturer from 1971 to 1977. Berlina is Italian for a saloon car or sedan. The 2000 Alfa Romeo is powered by a 2.0-liter, 130-hp twin cam inline four-cylinder engine with a manual transmission.
Finished in black with a clean and tidy medium brown interior, the rear-wheel drive Alfa Romeo 2000 has bucket-type front seats, Veglia instrumentation, rear window defroster, twin inside adjustable sideview mirrors, a small center console, Campagnolo alloy wheels and power four-wheel disc brakes.
