Mercedes-Benz and AMG are synonymous with performance, luxury, safety and handsome design. The SL 55 AMG is a special edition SL500 that has been massaged by Mercedes’ AMG performance division. AMG pulled out all stops to see the SL 55 was a world-class performer. They started with a 493-hp supercharged 5.5-liter V-8 then worked the car from end to end to match the suspension, brakes, and accompanying components to the engine. Car and Driver magazine said the CL 55 was “the quickest factory Benz we've ever tested: 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds, 0 to 100 in 10.9, the quarter-mile in 13 seconds flat at 110 mph.”

This car is a special “Designer Edition.” The Designer Edition is a high line CL 55 AMG with additional leather trim, special stitching and color-coordinated exterior and interior. This car also has factory AMG mag wheels, a $5,000 option.

This car has all of its books, tools, and factory options. It has a clean Carfax and is in excellent condition. It’s reported to run and drive extremely well.
