This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is presented in the rare color combination of Sea Spray Green with crème interior. As with all 1957 Thunderbirds; this is a convertible that has the optional removable hardtop, in this case with the popular “porthole.” Sea Spray Green is a 1958 color, but sources indicate that certain late-1957 examples were finished in this color, which was the replacement for Willow Green.

Finely restored by Amos Minter of Dallas, Texas; this Thunderbird remains very presentable and runs with the D-Code 312-cid, 245-hp V-8 engine with a four-barrel Holley carb. This is matched to a Fordomatic automatic transmission. Additional features on this nicely equipped example includes air conditioning, Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels, fender skirts, wide whitewall tires, radio; power four-way seat, windows, steering and brakes.

The car is stated to have received a thorough mechanical upgrade by a noted T-Bird technician. Among the work completed are attention to the brakes, carburetor, spark plugs, alternator, light bulbs, radiator and more. It is further noted to be a good driver that runs down the road with “no issues at all.” Over $3,000 has been invested in the car over the past two years and has been consistently housed in a climate controlled setting. The Thunderbird has also won several awards at unspecified shows during its current ownership.
