This Shelby has received an incredible rotisserie restoration that has resulted in the car being judged a Shelby American Automobile Club Gold winner. The Shelby is an SAAC Division 2 Concours Gold car; examined, judged and awarded this most coveted honor by the most recognized 1968 Shelby experts in the world; most impressive indeed. This makes this a very well-known car within the Shelby community for all of the right reasons.

This stunning Acapulco Blue with black interior GT 500 was delivered new in 1968 to Larson Ford in White Plains, New York. The Fastback runs with a 428-cid, 360-hp V-8 Police Interceptor engine that is mated to a four-speed manual transmission and rear end with 3.50:1 gearing. These components are correct and believed to be original.

As beautiful, correct and show-worthy as this fine machine is, it is also reported as an exceptional driving example. Everything works properly, right down to the tilt-away wheel. Considered an investment grade vehicle, it most certainly garners attention wherever it appears. It is restored to exactly the way it was when delivered new, including the hubcaps, AM radio and bias-ply Goodyear tires. Verified by a Marti Report, the Shelby was originally optioned with extra cooling package, Visibility Group, wheel lip molding, Sport Deck rear seat, power steering, power front disc brakes, Interior Décor Group and heavy-duty battery. Many pieces of documentation and books accompany this iconic car.
