Nearly 4,000 of the 3000 Mark III’s were sold in 1965 including this car which has just over 14,000 thought-to-be original miles; most of which were compiled by its original owner. The car has a documented ownership history and was donated to a high school vocational program where it was stripped to bare metal and repainted. It remained disassembled for many years until purchased by its subsequent owner who completed the restoration while upgrading the car. Modern improvements include starter; electric fan; electronic ignition; new coil, plug wires, electric fuel pump, wood steering wheel, chrome bumpers and bumper guards, windshield, LED rear reflectors, tires and chrome wheels. It is accompanied by its British Heritage Trust Certificate.
