The sporty Mercedes-Benz 190SL continues to show strength in popularity and appreciation six decades after they were lasted produced. This richly presented example has been freshly restored from nose-to-tail in a show-quality style and looks fantastic in black with parchment leather, tan carpet, tan top boot and a black German canvas convertible top. All of these elements are new, as is the rubber and weatherstrip.
This model has a 1,897-cc, 104-hp overhead cam, inline four-cylinder engine and four-speed manual transmission. The dual Weber carburetors have been rebuilt, and the engine bay is presented in a highly detailed fashion. The interior similarly conveys this high standard of appearance. The chrome is also fresh and the color-keyed steel wheels have the proper factory caps and trim rings and are complemented by wide whitewall tires.
