The beautiful styling of the 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille illustrates low, sweeping lines along with graceful hood and roof contours to create a feeling of space. This Sonic Blue Series 62 is the beneficiary of a complete frame-off rotisserie restoration. The car was media-blasted and the body and frame then received undercoating. The drivetrain is original to car, including its 365-cid, 285-hp V-8 engine and Hydra-Matic automatic transmission which have both been rebuilt. Among the many items attended to during the rebuild are all new weather stripping, all new glass, new brakes, suspension, rebuilt power steering box, Flowmaster exhaust that is routed correctly through the rear bumper and a luxurious new interior. Along with standard Cadillac features such as numerous lighting conveniences, remote exterior mirror; power windows, seat, steering and brakes – this exceptional Coupe DeVille displays the optional spotlight, Sabre-Spoke aluminum wheels and whitewall tires.
