Please note this vehicle is titled as a 1967 Ferrari.

This Ferrari 330 GT is a US market car originally delivered in the rarely seen color combination of Blue Sera with beige leather. According to its Marcel Massini report, this example was originally fitted with power windows, power steering, and air conditioning.

It is understood that the original owner, Mr. Corsuti, purchased the car through Chinetti Motors and kept it until 1975. Around this time the 330 was repainted in Rosso Corsa and it remains red to this day. It is thought that the upholstery was changed to the current black at around this time, as it presents today with a pleasing patina suggesting that it was a long-ago swap. No stranger to long term ownerships, this Ferrari had a single custodian for 26 years, from 1988 until 2014.

A most usable model of Ferrari to begin with, combining 2+2 seating with a proper trunk, this 330 would be a good example to use for tours and rallies. Cosmetically, it shows as an older restoration while still being very presentable, and indeed comfortable and inviting.

Under its current custodianship, over $16,000 in recent cosmetic and mechanical sorting was performed in 2017 by the specialists at RNR Restorations in Marina del Rey, California. The result is a car which starts, runs, and drives easily, as confirmed by a recent test drive with an RM Sotheby’s specialist. The Ferrari has just the right road presence with a new set of period-style tires, and makes all the right noises. The five-speed manual transmission is easy to shift and the 4-liter V-12 makes plenty of power.

All in all, this is a very pleasing example of the 330 GT 2+2, one which offers its new owner the chance to drive and enjoy the car as is for many years to come, with the possibility of one day returning it to its rare original colors.
