Launched in 1961 at the International Motor Show in Geneva, the XKE echoed the sensation of the XK 120. An astonishing performance package, with amazing speed and handling, the E-Types brand-new four-wheel independent suspension system was so well-conceived, it ended up being used by Jaguar for over thirty years. The Series I 4.2-liter is a very user friendly, sporty driver and is one of the most collectable of the E-Types. Some of the features of this model are covered headlights, toggle switches, full instrumentation, along with center console and armrests.

This exciting red example has a black soft-top and very tidy black interior. Wire wheels with knock-offs and blackwall tires add to the beautiful period style. A wood-rimmed steering wheel, stainless steel exhaust, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Gaz adjustable shocks, high-torque starter and exceptional detailing throughout are all attributes that should garner close attention.
