The first Cadillac Coupe DeVille debuted at the 1949 Autorama. It was later introduced for the 1949 model year under Cadillac’s 62 series. The 1957 Cadillacs featured a new front end styling with rubber bumper guards and parking lamps set into the lower bumper. The DeVille models could be differentiated by unique nameplates on the fenders. In 1957 Cadillac produced 23,813 Coupe DeVilles.
