The 1982 model Corvette would be the last year that the Corvette body basic design would link back to the C2 styling. Chevrolet devised a plan to celebrate the successful run of this Corvette with making a “Collector Edition.” Features on these cars would include: lifting rear hatchback glass, special wheels designed to resemble the 1967 model wheels, silver-beige paint, silver-beige leather interior and special emblems. All of the 1982 model year Corvettes were built in Bowling Green, Kentucky and 25,407 were manufactured. While only 6,759 Collector Edition models were produced.

This collectable Corvette was purchased new from a GM employee with all documents and the window sticker that is still attached to the driver’s window; where it has been since day one. Since then it has been stored in a climate controlled bubble with minimal use, but also well-maintained which preserved this car very well. Every document from new is included with the car. This includes the original order sheet, employee discount papers and build sheet. The car still remains in the original owner’s title.

The car comes with the original tires while the car is currently riding on brand new tires. This Corvette is presented with the original interior and paint; and a documentation file that covers the life of the car. This well-preserved car is reported to run and drive perfectly.
