The Jaguar Mark I was produced in Coventry, England from 1955 to 1959. Originally available with only a 2.4-liter engine, by 1957 a 3.4-liter engine was made available. The 2.4-liter and 3.4-liter saloons were replaced, in 1959, by the Mark II, one of Jaguar’s most popular models. Barely distinguishable from the Mark II, the Mark I, as it became known retrospectively, had body-colored door pillars and a smaller backlight.

This 1958 Jaguar Mark I is fitted with the larger 3.4 engine and a four-speed manual transmission. This Jaguar, reportedly with one-family ownership for over fifty years, is in need of a full restoration. The car appears complete and includes many original details.
