Introduced as the replacement for the Dino 246 in 1975, the 308 holds an important place in Ferrari history. Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti, of Pininfarina, it quickly won over many enthusiasts for both its looks and performance. The 308 GTS entered production in 1977, and while similar to the 308 GTB, the main difference between the two was its removable top, which provided the pleasure of open-air driving.
1979 was the last year for the carbureted 308, being replaced by the GTBi and GTSi of 1980. This GTS is attractively finished in Rosso Corsa with black leather interior and has a clean, uncluttered look without the wing, front air dam, and large mirrors of later cars. Chassis number 29115 has only 28,731 registered on the odometer and is a well-preserved example that is ready for its next owner to enjoy.
