For 1955, Dodge models would appear as a totally new car. The La Femme was a special order trim option, finished with Heather Rose and Sapphire White two-tone paint.
As with all La Femme models, this car is finished in Heather Rose and Sapphire white paint. Adorning the exterior of the car are polished wire wheels bound in whitewall tires. Inside the car it is finished in Heather Rose and Sapphire White, and is fitted with a pushbutton radio, glovebox and heater. Powering this lovely car is a 270-cid Hemi V-8 engine married to an automatic transmission. Making driving more enjoyable is power steering and power brakes. The odometer shows a mere 20,033 miles which the owner believes to be original to the car.
Included with the purchase of the car is documentation from when Mrs. I.L. Peterson purchased the La Femme from Shelby Motors in Charmpaign, Illinois on May 3, 1955.
