The second generation Cadillac Series 62 encountered few changes mechanically, but design cues were changed, giving the Series 62 a new-look from 1942-1947. The grille increased in size, but featured fewer bars, and the parking lights became round while the foglights became rectangular. These Series 62s also featured a new fresh air ventilation system.

This 1946 Cadillac Series 62 Club Coupe received a high level restoration in 1985, and it still displays very well. It is powered by a 346-cid, L-head V-8 generating 150-hp, paired to an automatic transmission. The older lacquer paint is worn through in some places, but it still presents very well at any showing. The engine received a complete overhaul in 1997, in addition to new axle bearings; the Cadillac received gas tank reconditioning, engine mounts, fuel pump, manifolds, brake lines and an alignment. This Cadillac is recognized by CCCA as a senior car, and would be the perfect transportation for your next tour.
