This Southern California one family owned Mercedes-Benz 380SL was introduced in the early 1980s and came standard with a DOHC 3.8-liter V-8. This particular 1982 380SL has been cared for by its original family and only has just above 90,000 miles. The fierce Signal Red on top of the Palomino interior is a great color combination and a refreshing change from the sea of beige SL’s on the market.

The famous Mercedes-Benz alloy wheels remain in good condition sporting a set of modern blackwall radials. Always garage kept, and serviced by the local Mercedes dealer, the highly original engine bay shows signs of regular maintenance, which is all this car needs to run for many thousands of miles. The four-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly through the gears while the all-independent suspension soaks up bumps while still remaining sporty enough to be entertaining on a twisty country road. The seats are clad in MB-Tex and show very well with no splits, holes or tears. This beauty runs, drives, and looks fantastic and it is accompanied with the original owner’s manual, receipts and original window sticker from new.
