This XK 150 3.4 roadster is the higher-hp SE model and one of the first cars built with the elongated, heavy taillights featured on the rare 3.8 series, as well as an original example with factory Laycock de Normanville overdrive. Delivered to a prominent Washington State physician in Paris and used extensively for European touring, it was then brought stateside and remained in the doctor’s ownership until his passing in the 1990s. It was then fully restored in Washington, a nut-and-bolt restoration completed in the late 1990s. According to the owner, virtually every component was rebuilt and numerous new-old-stock Jaguar parts were used.

According to the present owner, the four-speed transmission was disassembled, rebuilt, and reinstalled with a new clutch, and the engine was sent to California for a rebuild. The original cylinder head, matching the original block, was misplaced for some time in the restoration process, so the car was assembled with a replacement head. Fortunately, after completion and assembly of the engine, the original head was located and is included with the sale.

Beautifully finished in Opalescent Blue over blue leather interior, this thoroughly restored factory left-hand-drive XK 150, offered with an original tool roll, restored jack, and the aforementioned original cylinder head, is an exceptional opportunity to acquire Jaguar’s most refined XK roadster.
