  • One of 12 left-hand-drive V8 ‘Oscar India’ models delivered new in North America
  • Professional Vantage upgrade by marque specialists Autosport Designs
  • 41,000 actual miles; ZF five-speed manual transmission and rare electric factory sunroof

This ‘Oscar India’ is one of 12 original factory left-hand-drive models delivered new in North America, and it recently underwent a full restoration and mechanical upgrades by marque specialists Autosport Designs. The engine was uprated to full V8 Vantage specifications, and the car mounted with a factory five-speed ZF transmission, Oscar driving lights, V8 Vantage blanking plate, full stainless steel exhaust, late-style Ronal 16 × 8-in. wheels (including the spare), upgraded rotary air-conditioning compressor, a high torque gear-reduction starter, suspension/handling kit, and factory Nardi wooden steering wheel.

The chassis was serviced throughout, to ensure no rust, and was further detailed properly. The body has been refinished in the elegant period-correct Cumberland Grey by Dwayne Nosworthy of Westchester Classic Cars & Coachwork, Ltd., well known for their concours award-winning paint, and all brightwork was polished or plated.

Upon completion, the car was shown at this year’s annual AMOC North America Lime Rock Concours, taking First Place in the V8 class. It is supplied with its original factory owner’s handbook, factory tool roll, and warning triangle, as well as previous ownership and service records, and has recently been mechanically serviced throughout; the factory air conditioning is even working and blows cold. Simply put, it is ready for enjoyment by a proud new caretaker.
