C.A. Tilt founded the Diamond T Motor Car Company in 1905, initially focusing its efforts on touring car production. That changed in 1911, when at a customer’s request, the company entered into truck production. During World War I the company supported the war effort by producing roughly 1,500 Liberty trucks. Diamond T saw success through the 1940s, supporting the war effort once again during World War II. At the conclusion of the war a new truck market emerged with returning GIs desiring pickup trucks for everyday use. With the added competition of Ford and GM, Diamond T began limiting production of its trucks in 1951. By 1958, the company was sold to the White Motor Co.

Always impressive in stature, the 1947 Diamond T on offer is presented in a stunning shade of red with a green beltline. The exterior of the truck features roof marker lights, side-mounted spare and a driver sideview mirror. The Diamond T is powered by a straight six-cylinder engine which is paired to a manual transmission. Windshield wipers are another convenient driver aid.
