This 1967 Ford Shelby GT 350 Coupe Re-creation is presented in black with white racing stripes. The car was built by John Miller and restored by St. John’s Auto Restoration. The restoration included floorpans, a Heidts suspension and a freshly painted exterior utilizing PPG Envirobase Waterborne Paints. The car is now powered by a 1968 block that is bored .030 over with 1969 351 Windsor heads, a large cam and auger-styled muffler. The engine was blueprinted and balanced and is paired to a four-speed manual transmission. The interior of the car is presented in a two-tone black and white with Shelby inserts. Additional interior features include a radio, a wood steering wheel and shift knob.
According to the current owner this car has been driven sparingly since its restoration. In 2013, the car took third place for its class “Conservative Hardtop 1967-1969” at the Detroit Autorama Car show. Included is a large folder with all of the receipts from the entire vehicle build. This is a very nice example of a Shelby GT 350 re-creation.
