From 1940 to 1996, Oldsmobile’s top-of-the-line model was the 98. In 1948 Oldsmobile introduced the third generation of their 98 model. Unique to the Oldsmobile 98 for the 1948 model year was a restyled design, referred to as the Futuramatic styling concept. While the design was initially released on the 98 model, it would later be used across the model line for 1949. Nineteen fifty-three marked the final year of the third generation Oldsmobile 98.

This 1953 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe is presented in crème with a black top. The car is powered by a V-8 engine paired to a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. The Oldsmobile 98 rides on whitewall tires with Oldsmobile logo wheel covers. The rear tires are covered by body matched fender skirts.
