Following a very successful 1937, Ford offered two models for 1938, Standard and Deluxe. The Standard models were offered in the same basic design as the 1937 Fords, while the Deluxe models featured a restyled appearance. Changes included a curved grille outline with horizontal bars and separate hood louvers, as well as a redesigned dash layout featuring a centrally located radio speaker and recessed knobs. In 1938 Ford produced 6,080 Ford Deluxe Convertible Club Coupes.

This 1938 Ford Deluxe Convertible Club Coupe has gone through a body-off restoration and is presented in red with a tan convertible top. The car is powered by a 221-cid flathead V-8 engine paired to a floor-shift three-speed manual transmission. The car rides on whitewall tires with Ford V-8 logo wheel covers. Exterior features include chromed bumpers, dual sideview mirrors and windshield wipers. The interior of the car is presented in tan leather accented by a wood dashboard and trim. It features a clock, radio and a banjo-style steering wheel with suicide knob.
