Nineteen sixty-five marked the first year of the second generation Corvair. Changes in 1965 included of an improved front suspension and the addition of independent rear suspension, both changes greatly improved handling. For 1965, the Corsa model became the top-of-the-line Corvair offering.

This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Turbo Convertible was restored in 2007 to factory original specifications. It is presented in Evening Orchid with a white convertible power top. The car rides on whitewall tires with Corvair wheel covers. The car is powered by an air-cooled rear-engine 164-cid, 180-hp turbo-charged flat-six-cylinder engine. The interior is appointed in ivory with black carpet and dash. Additional interior features include a wood steering wheel, seatbelts and Deluxe AM radio. Since the restoration, the owner states it’s been driven approximately 275 miles. The car has won its AACA 1st Junior and AACA Senior, a true testament to the high quality restoration.
