Ford used the phrase, “Greater beauty, greater comfort, and greater safety,” to describe its 1935 models. For the 1935 model year, Ford restyled their cars. A few of the more prominent styling changes included a new radiator design without the ‘V’ base, more accentuated rounded fenders, side hood louvers features horizontal bright stripes, and the windshield appeared to be at more of an angle than the previous year. Under President Edsel Ford’s leadership the 1935 Ford was America’s best-selling brand.

This 1935 Ford Deluxe Three-Window Coupe is presented in blue with dark blue fenders and yellow pinstriping. The car rides on whitewall tires mounted on red wire wheels with Ford V8 logo center caps. Exterior features on the vehicle include a greyhound radiator mascot, driving lights, dual sideview mirrors, rumbleseat, chromed exhaust tip and a rear-mounted spare with hard cover. The car is powered by a 221-cid, 85-hp flathead V-8 engine which is paired to a three-speed manual transmission. The interior is completed in what appears to be tan broadcloth with wood dash and trim. It features bench seating, Ford AM radio and a banjo-style steering wheel with “suicide” knob.
