The Ford Bronco, in all of its many iterations, is an American icon, but it is one that is only rarely found in the condition in which they were built. Broncos were brawny haulers and off-roaders, and most were used as the manufacturer had intended. As a result, a quality survivor is something truly unusual and something to be coveted by Ford truck enthusiasts.

The 1984 Bronco XLT offered here still wears its original factory paint, which is in remarkable original condition and still looks “new.” The interior itself is, in fact, new, including its front captain’s chairs, a rear bench, and a properly fitted dashboard and carpets. The engine bay is clean and original, while the chrome bumpers are still in good condition. The 351-cid, 150-hp V-8 engine exhales through a dual stainless steel exhaust, and the Bronco rides on painted steel wheels shod in raised white letter Goodyear tires. Options on this example are abundant throughout and include an automatic transmission shifted from the steering column, power steering, power brakes, a tilt steering wheel, power mirrors, power locks, power windows, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and factory air conditioning.

As this example has recorded only 22,083 miles, which is thought to be actual mileage from new, it is in all likelihood the finest 1984 Bronco left in the world. For the collector seeking something a bit unusual, or simply something that can climb over everything else, it is an excellent option.
