When Car and Driver tested the 1989 Corvette, the magazine stated β€œβ€¦it hunkers down, hangs on, and blasts off as if it had something to prove.” Each new Corvette came standard with 275/40ZR-17 tires to keep the power to the asphalt. The third most popular exterior color was black with less than 20 percent ordered. This example has a host of popular features such as gray leather upholstery, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes AM/FM Cassette system, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering, as well as power windows and seats. As a fine prior-owned future collectible, it has some light wear to the upholstery and moldings, but is very presentable and usable. While red may have been the most popular color for the ’89 Corvettes, it would be difficult to pass up the sinister hue of this convertible.
