A wolf in sheep’s clothing might best describe this unassuming Chevy. Armed with a big-block V-8 under the hood, no one would anticipate this level of performance in a Bel Air. It is equipped with an aluminum radiator with electric fan, Edelbrock aluminum intake, oversized tube headers and more, all neatly fitted into a sparkling engine compartment. The dark copper paint finish has been applied to a very straight exterior that is adorned with American Racing-style rims and beefy BFGoodrich radials. Remaining largely as stock, the cloth and vinyl bench seat interior is as neat as a pin with floor-shift automatic transmission, factory wood rim steering wheel, auxiliary under-dash gauges and dash-mounted tachometer. This 1966 Bel Air has just the right stance and updates for a winning combination.
