Being offered is this custom, one-of-a-kind Pro Touring Mustang that has been built from the ground-up. The front frame and suspension are from Martz Chassis. The frame rails are two- x three-inches, there are coil-over shocks, rack-and-pinion steering, Martz Chassis triangulated four-link rear suspension with air ride, a stainless steel fuel tank and pump from Rick’s Tanks and Accessories and a rollcage from front-to-rear.
The engine is a Ford 4.6-liter DOHC supercharged unit that has been built to resemble the Ford GT40 racecars fearsome powerplant. This has been dyno’d at 510 horsepower with boost that can be tuned up to nine-pounds; it is currently set at six-pounds. The transmission is a five-speed manual Tremec that is matched to a Ford nine-inch rear end with four-link and a Moser third member Detroit locker with a 3.89:1 ratio. The long-tube headers are from Stainless Works and the exhaust is from Flowmaster.and it is outfitted with Be Cool cooling module and fans. The car is completely smoothed and the undercarriage and chassis are also painted, reflecting the overall build quality.
The exterior exhibits Shelby-style components from Maier acing, tucked and smoothed bumpers, HIP headlamps, custom smoothed inner fender wells and core support, 17-inch Billet Specialties wheels, billet LED sequential taillights, remote entry, billet hinges for the trunk and hood and House of Kolor Platinum Pearl paint with True Blue stripes.
The interior is equally well-done with power windows, custom suede and ultra-leather interior with Procar seats, in-dash AM/FM stereo system with rear speakers, Vintage Air-brand air conditioning that is the Gen IV unit, billet dash inserts, AutoMeter gauges and a short-throw shifter with custom center console with a billet insert. Nicely presented and detailed throughout, this one-off Mustang Pro Touring will attain great amounts of speed and attention.
