This 1928 Packard Eight Five-Passenger Phaeton wears a well-presented restoration, recently acquired from an estate. This Fifth Series Packard is presented in two-tone brown with a dark orange beltline around the doors; all completed with a tan soft-top. Black fenders rest over the car’s whitewall tires which are mounted on dark orange steel disc wheels. Additional exterior features include dual side-mounted spares with mirrors, radiator stoneguard, cowllights, dual windshields with windwings and a trunk rack with trunk. The car is powered by a 384-cid, 109-hp straight eight-cylinder engine which is paired to a floor-shift three-speed manual transmission. The interior is completed in saddle leather, which truly complements the exterior with a wonderful period-inspired overall presentation. The driver is presented with a wood dashboard which houses a center-mounted instrument cluster. Rear passengers are greeted with an interior light and storage compartments, plus the wind-breaking benefits of the second windscreen. This represents one of the 7,800 Packard Eights produced in 1928.
