Nineteen sixty-five marked the third year of the C2 Sting Ray body style with 8,186 coupes and 15,376 convertibles produced. The car had made a great impact upon introduction and the design team continued with their refinements. Styling was generally cleaned up on the hood, the roof vents were gone on coupes and the shark gills behind the front wheels were made functional for the first time, aiding in cooling. Disc brakes at all four corners became standard giving Corvettes the stopping command to match the horsepower.

This completely restored and very nicely presented Pearl Silver coupe has a black interior and features the desirable 327-cid, 300-hp V-8 engine and four-speed manual transmission combination. This Corvette also has knock-off alloy wheels fitted with tasteful whitewall tires, side pipe exhaust, AM/FM radio, bucket seats and seatbelts. A National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) sticker in the windshield indicates the highly correct nature of this machine.
