The 1946 Series 62 Cadillac models are considered by many to be imbued with such carefully prescribed proportions that it is virtually impossible to fault their design. The hood length in relation to the deck is classically correct and the fenders are precisely contoured to complement the body’s design parameters. Glass areas are in balance with the sculpted sheetmetal panels; brightwork is conservative, functional and aesthetically positioned. This classic design carried over to the 1947 with small changes noticed in the exterior appearance.

This 1947 Series 62 Cadillac is beautifully presented with metallic blue paintwork that is accented by fender skirts; and chrome side moldings, rock guards, bumpers and grille. The car is rolling on wide whitewall tires with full factory wheel covers. The interior is finished with pleated upholstery, body colored dash, electric clock and a wooden steering wheel. Powering this car is a flathead V-8 engine that is connected to a column-shift manual transmission.
