The Porsche 912 had a production ran from 1965 through 1969 and accordingly, 912 Porsches of quality are becoming increasingly collectible. Today, excellent examples are few and far between, as not surprisingly they proved popular with many people who never anticipated their future value.
This example is reported as one of the early examples that has a painted dashboard and three VDO gauge panel arrangement. The Porsche is coming out of a 20-plus year ownership and a recent engine rebuild. It is powered by a 1,600-cc, 95-hp flat four-cylinder engine that is mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. Finished in the refreshing tones of ivory with a beige cloth interior; this 912 also has a rare factory sunroof, the sought after (and reported rare) H1 headlights, spare, manual, tools and jack. The rear seat of the Porsche folds down and the rear windows vent outward, for spaciousness and comfort in travel.
