This Chevrolet pickup was voted “Top Dog” in Sport Truck Magazine when it was featured in November 2001 and again in December 2001 it was named “Top Dog” in the Sport Truck Challenge. Built to best represent the spirit of the mighty Corvette, it has been with the same owner for the past 12 years and remains in “very nice condition.”

The engine is at the heart of its Corvette soul with a 1996 Corvette LT4 350-cid Grand Sport powerplant with a ZZ4 cam, Accel DFI fuel injection, Vortech intercooler, Vortech V-2 supercharger, JBA headers, 2.5-inch exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, Centerforce dual-friction clutch, six-speed transmission and a 3.73:1 Auburn Gear rear end. It is reported this custom truck was dyno-tested at 400-hp at the rear wheels.
The suspension in the front is Air Ride Shockwave system with adjustable bag-over shock system and a pair of Belltech 2.5-inch drop spindles. In the rear is Air Ride four-link and a pair of Hotchkiss sway bars. The disc brakes are at all four corners and by Baer (with drilled rotors), plus it has Eagle Alloy 20-inch wheels and BFGoodrich tires that are reported as “like new.”
The interior has a TV/DVD with remotes. The Panasonioc stereo is said to be "awesome." It also features power bucket seats with console. The dash is billet and the Air Ride system is controlled with four switches on the console and gauges for each corner and the main system are located in the glovebox. The truck drops low “if you want to park it and look cool.” It has four polished aluminum air tanks in the bed for reserve air pressures and a compressor underneath that feeds the system. The air also allows for a chrome train air horn that is sure to garner everyone’s attention.
The truck was professionally built and tuned to ride and drive like no other. It is reported as fun to drive and is reported to get good gas mileage and perform “perfectly.” It is said that nearly $85,000 was invested in the build of this “Corvette-inspired” Chevy custom pickup. The owner conveys that there is much more, "this 'Corvette' truck has it all."
