One advertisement summarized the 1989 Pontiac Trans Am perfectly. “The 20th anniversary Trans AM. The only modification it needed to pace the Indy 500 was a decal.” Only 1,555 of these anniversary cars were produced in 1989.
From the dealership, this Trans Am was immediately put into a climate controlled storage. Because of this, the odometer only shows 83 miles, arguably one of the lowest mileage examples available. The car still retains the original tires, and comes with the original battery also. Powering this car is a turbocharged V-6 engine that is connected to a fully automatic transmission. The Pearl White paint and the tan leather interior are in immaculate condition.
