The Oldsmobile Cutlass placed the standard for 1971 elegance within the reach of almost evert new car buyer. It was a fine blending of good taste, luxury and easy handling. The styling profile was regarded as classic; it was impressively formal and tastefully refined.

The Sienna with brown interior Cutlass Supreme convertible being offered carries a 15 year old restoration that is reported to be well maintained and cared for. It has had only three owners and is driven by the standard Rocket 350-cid V-8 with a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor and a chromed air cleaner. This unit is paired to a three-speed column-shift automatic. The Cutlass Supreme is reported as having no flaws inside or out with doors that open and close perfectly, The chrome and brightwork shows in an excellent manner, plus the undercarriage is very clean and has been undercoated. The soft-top is just like new. It further exhibits a beautiful interior, with the upholstery and carpets “all perfect.” The engine bay is clean driver-quality with correct clamps.

Among the equipment is factory air conditioning, AM/FM 8-track stereo with added speakers, bucket seats, an aftermarket center console that is covered in matching material, 4-4-2 rear bumper with dual exhaust and stainless tips; power windows, steering and brakes. Everything is reported to function properly incuding the air conditioning and dash-mounted clock. The Oldsmobile has factory Super Stock wheels that are color-keyed to the exterior finish, have trim rings and are wrapped with BFGoodrich T/A Radials. The driveline is thought to be original to the car; it is a “great running car that can be driven anywhere.” It is stated to look like a “strong #2 overall condition” that looks and performs like a fresh restoration. The restoration receipts accompany the car.
