The much loved “YJ” Jeep was introduced in 1987 after the “CJ” Jeep production was ended after a decline in sales. North American Jeeps were made available with different trim levels, one of them being the Sahara trim package. This package came standard with body color fender flares, steel wheels and special green trail cloth bucket seats and a removable rear bench seat. An AM/FM radio with cassette player was standard, along with air conditioning.

The special green interior is highlighted with a tan dashboard, center console and door panels with storage pockets. Moving this vehicle is a 150-cid inline six-cylinder engine matched with an automatic transmission, and a part-time transfer case that provides four-wheel drive. The green paint is matched by the steel wheels; and the tan removable top shows to be in excellent condition. Options equipped on this Jeep include: power steering, brakes and windows; AM/FM radio, air conditioning and a bumper mounted winch has been added, along with a mesh grille protector.

This Jeep Wrangler Sahara is showing a meniscal 20,536 miles since it left the showroom floor, and is still presented in “like-new” condition.
