There was nothing very base about Chevrolet’s base pickup in 1971. All 14 models of the popular stepside pickup got the Chevy-tough cab that featured two walls of steel that strengthened all of the vital areas and the availability of a nine-foot bed. A wide range of powerplants were also ready for action.

This is a well-executed Chevrolet short box, stepside that has been frame-off restored to condition that has many original features along with updated styling cues. Finished in red with a black and gray interior; the Chevy is driven by its original rebuilt 307-cid V-8 engine and an automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, oak bed floor with polished stainless securing strips, front and rear chrome bumpers, dual exhaust, cloth seat upholstery, carpeted floor, aftermarket M/FM stereo radio, factory Rally wheels and raised white letter tires.
