The 454 SS pickup was a performance variant of the 1500-Series 1/2-ton truck produced by Chevrolet from 1990 through 1993. It was introduced to the public on September 1, 1989 and later inspired the production of its competitor, the Ford Lightning, in 1993. The SS 454 was a rather rare truck, as only 16,953 were produced in three years.
Presented in “like new” condition, this 454 SS shows just over 2,080 miles since new. Power for this truck comes from a 454-cid V-8 engine that is connected to a three-speed automatic transmission. The exterior is finished in black with a Garnet Red interior that is tailored with bucket seats and color keyed carpeting. This truck is equipped with power steering, brakes windows; air conditioning, a radio with cassette player and special 454 SS wheels.
